Here's a diagnostic you can run on yourself. If you find yourself running a command, clicking through a dashboard, copy-pasting between tabs, or hunting for a file — that was a missed delegation. An agent could have done it, and you took the work back by accident.
The tell is usually upstream: the brief was too vague to delegate, so it came back to you by default. The fix is not to do it faster. It's to name which layer should have owned it, write that brief, and move. Don't re-litigate the miss.
The inverse failure exists too, and it's worse: handing an agent something only you can decide — a product direction, a spend, anything client-facing. That's not delegation, it's abdication. Agents execute; they don't decide.
Run the seed: sort a list of steps into agent-able and irreducibly-human.
